Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.

As expert of Test of Mobile phones, assess/support build up of site’s capability in Test.

Train site resources to enhance Test skills to be able to manage production according to requirement and needed capabilities.

Lead common improvement in Test area in all sites.

Develop and optimize Test process together with process owner based on EMS&ODM site requirements and practice. Coordinate implementation on all sites.

 

1. Apply Test expertise to develop and continuously optimize work models of Test and drive improvements for all sites.

2. Execute site capability assessment to identify EMS&ODM partner candidate and current partner’s strength/weakness vs. our requirements and needed capabilities.

3. Lead Site Improvement Project cross sites regarding Test. Develop creative solutions in solving Test related problems. Provide technical support to enhance EMS&ODM site’s capability from Test perspective.

4. Execute and document “Transfer project evaluations” that consider the receiving sites conditions. Create, update when circumstances change, follow up and implement rollout plans. Implementations need to be adapted to the receiving sites conditions, this is one of the main value add for Site Capability and how and when this should be done shall be documented in a plan. Support implementation/changes of test tools, systems, processes, technologies and features

5. Lead other small to medium sized Test implementation project. Align test equipment/requirements towards main sites (EMS&ODM) in order to save cost and secure quality.

 

1. Have around 8 years experience of Test of Mobile phones, hands on experience of manufacturing, set up of test stations, calibration, documentation and optimization necessary.

2. Shall be able to e.g. do test integration and detailed RCA but shall have the mindset to support/educate Partner engineers in different areas.. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Can provide coaching and actively share knowledge!

3. Knowledge of RF, Baseband, Image, Acoustics tests etc ideally

Other  Able to do business case study from cost, capability and quality point of view

Strong verbal and written communication skills both in English and Chinese
