Description
1       POSITION/TITLE:
•       GTG Manager (Global Testing Group)
 
2       ORGANISATION UNIT:
•       ITPC (IT Production China)
 
3       REPORTING TO:
•       Head Of ITPC (IT Production China)
•       DIRECT REPORTS:GTG Test Engineer
•       GTG Test Lead
 
4       RESPONSIBILITY:
•       Build up an effective test team and, provide and follow up KPIs and team performance reports, identify and act on trends and deviations
•       Collaborate with global business and counter-partners in global team to identify test service requests and planning
•       Leverage testing technology, domain knowledge, methodology, and resources to ensure effective and high quality deliverables as per agreements/directivesInitiate and optimize test related processes
•       ITPC contact point for test resource management
•       Actively participate in the defined governance meetings
•       Acting as host manager for all ITPC AM/AD resources who are based in Chengdu office
 
5       REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:
Must
•       Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science related
•       Minimum 2 years people management experience
•       2+ years test team management working experience
•       3+ years¡¯ testing/test lead working experience, such as testing project planning, executing, tracking, and team management
•       In-depth understanding of continuous test management improvement
•       Effective and excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
 
Advantages:
•       PMP certificated
•       An ISEB/ISTQB certificate
•       TMap certificated or knowledge
•       In-depth understanding in software development and maintenance related methodology, process, and tools (waterfall, Agile);
•       A general understanding of the business area as a concept, such as ERP, CRM, SAP, PLD etc.
 
6       MINDSET:
•       Good people management skills such as coaching and directing
•       Highly self motivated
•       Structured and organized
•       Clear and crisp communication with confidence
•       Positive and proactive attitude and ability to work in a global organization with different nationalities/cultures, background and skills.
•       Good social skills and results driven.
