As a test engineer for the Infotainment system for the Asian market (Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China) you are responsible for verification of system and component functions and a important link in securing the right quality level for the end product.

 

The infotainment system consists of information and entertainment functions like Radio, Navigation, Audio / Video systems, Antenna systems, Telephone, Telematics, Displays and Information clusters.

 

Your work tasks will include

•       Validation planning

•       Interpretation of requirement specifications

•       Creation of validation specifications

•       Creation of validation methods

•       Securing of a suitable validation environment

•       Carrying out the actual component and systems tests

•       Writing of test reports including analysis of the result and

recommendations of suitable improvements to the engineering team.

 

•       Bachelor degree or above

•       Major in communication, electronics or computer science

•       A couple of years experience from infotainment or related areas

•       Validation or design experience from CAN and MOST systems

•       Tool experience from SDA, DHA, CANoe, Optolyzer and general Volvo tools are considered a strong merit

•       Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing

•       Experience and good track record from communicating and working in a international environment

•       Business and management awareness

•       Well organized and have structure thinking

•       Open minded and good team spirit

•       Initiative and positive personality
