The department in Company developing mobile phone accessories is looking for an experienced Test & Verification leader ready to take on the challenge to work with a broad range of different type of accessory products.

The work includes both internal tasks like developing new test methods, supporting technical project managers in verification issues within electrical, mechanical and functional verification and coordinating interoperability test activities. But it also includes reviewing proposed solutions and test-results from external partners and drive proactive and reactive discussions with them. The work might require some travelling.

You should be prepared to work independently, be self-driven and to give quick support to outsourced projects needing specialist support. This means normally that you work with many projects in parallel located in different time zones and with different complexity. Ability to troubleshoot issues in a complex environment and under time pressure is required.

The position is challenging and will give you the possibility to work in a creative and fast decision making environment. You will be directly involved in ongoing projects with tight time-schedules. You must be experienced in specified areas and be very structured and communicative.

 

•      Prepare samples for analysis, perform internal tests and review results.

•      Support projects globally by performing some specific Software, Hardware and/or Mechanics verification with internal test resources.

•      Support projects globally by leading Bluetooth IOT and Android IOT etc. with internal test resources.

•      Develop new tests related to new techniques started to be used and challenge current requirement, methods and levels.

•      Stay in contact with external test-houses and suppliers to secure Companys electrical, mechanical and functional test requirements.

•      Coordination the test & verification work and follow the set T&V strategy throughout the year.

•      Review design requirement specifications.

•      Be an active part in root-cause analysis work and discuss with relevant parties until problem solved.

•      Regularly visit our suppliers for a continuous dialogue about testing.

Qualifications:

A person suitable for the role is interested in electronic products combined with test & verification.

•      Degree in Telecommunication, Electronics, Computer Science engineering or related.

•      Skills in testing and verification within Software & Electronics are required.

•      Knowledge about accuracy of measurement is required.

•      Creativity, analytic ability and good communication skills both in writing and oral in English are essential.

•      Preferably 5 years experience to verify design (products and processes) against given specifications.

•      To document product history and identify risks with purpose to suggest improvements for reliability and environmental requirements within test & verification.

•      Skills in testing and verification within Mechanics and Environmental are good to have.

•      Type approval, safety and environmental testing knowledge are good to have.

•      Knowledge of standards and regulations (electrical, environmental, automotive etc.) are good to have.

•      Additionally you have to be a self going, task oriented person, who takes own responsibility to get the work done.
