Description

Responsibilities

User Experience Designer (UX Designer) is responsible of providing User Interface (UI) design solutions to meet user needs and business goals, ensuring the product deliver good experience and then satisfy users and customers.

UX Designer acts as Product User Experience Owner within product domain.

 

UX Designer works as 3 dedicated roles as below:

• User Researcher

• Interaction Designer

• UI Visual Designer

 

Concrete works of UX Designer include:

• User Researcher

Plan and perform user research work, including user interview, user observation, user feedback tracking;

Conduct usability test, for designs or existing products, evaluate usability and user/customer satisfaction level;

Analysis user data and exploit user needs; build user profiles and write test reports, provide direction for products operation and innovative design. Keep communicate with stakeholders and teams to make them all understand these;

Collaborate with other UX Designer roles on UI design solution;

Outputs：User Profile, User Task Analysis, Use Scenarios, Usability Test Report

• Interaction Designer

Design products with product owner , TPMs and User Researcher according to business goals and user needs; contribute to early product concepts and ideas;

Provide complete interaction solution with product lo-fi prototype and specifications, comply with user mental model;

Execute the design solution in collaboration with teammates;

Ability to quickly verify requirements and designs when changes need, by RITE method;

Strong detail orientation, ensure a good end-to-end experience is delivered by understand underlying technical limits and frequent implement review;

Outputs:Wireframe, Lo-fi prototype, UI detailed spec, DOD check result

• UI Visual Designer

Design products with product owner , TPMs and User Researcher according to business goals and user needs; contribute to early product concepts and ideas;

Provide complete visual solution with product hi-fi prototype and specifications, comply with CRAP principles;

Execute the design solution in collaboration with teammates;

Ability to quickly iterate design ideas & concepts, from pencil to Photoshop;

Provide a consistent look and feel solution across multiple platforms;

Create brand identities;

Outputs：Hi-fi prototype, UI detailed spec, HTML&CSS, DOD check result

 

• Common

Provide competence support towards multiple projects in company level

Setup and maintain knowledge / assets / tools library

Organize company activities to build up basic UX skill for all development teams

 

Authorities

• Design product with product managers.

• Priority UX related issues with TPM.

• Have a power to sign the product release.

 

Qualifications

Requirements for the position

• Bachelor or Master degree in psychology, industrial design, computer artist, or related area.

• Over 2 years relevant work experience on research or UI design, preferred Operator system design experience.

• Be familiar with UED product design process，independently complete product prototype and interaction specification deliverables.

• Excellent communication and ability of expression，be able to undertake project resources coordination，requirement verification and design presentation.

• Master common tools like Balsamiq、 Axure、Dreamweaver、Photoshop、Office etc.

• Strong business oriented mindset

• Self-driven, accountability and good teamwork

• Excellent written and oral communication skill on English and mandarin

• Good understanding of software development life cycle, agile development experience is preferred
