Requirements
You should possess working knowledge in one of the PC or embedded product areas (HDMI, WiFi, etc), prior experience with power management feature development and validation is highly desired.
You should have exposure to board or silicon development, and have hands-on experience with JTAG based debug tools, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
You should have basic understanding of firmware, preference given to familiarity with IA-based BIOS operation. Good understanding of CPU and other components common in embedded or mobile devices.
Candidate should have good communication skills: the ability to present complex technical problem in a clear and concise manner is required.
You will contribute to the platform validation of IA-based tablets. You will be responsible for leading efforts to evaluate new features, develop and deliver new test/debug tools for reference tablet designs based on Company's latest Atom-SOC technology. As a senior platform validation engineer, you will provide leadership to a planned co-location lab that will be set up to perform concurrent development across different countries. You will also be expected to test development and debug work, especially in areas linked with system level power management performance.
