SASN Software Design Engineer

As a SASN Software Design Engineer, you will develop or modify the products to meet the customer's requirements as well as fulfill the business requirements on cost, time and quality：
• Work with leading edge technology design (design documentation, coding in C/C++, and unit test) for Packet Core SASN systems.
• Work with system and test engineers to clarify customer requirements and come up with solutions
• Work in Agile software development process to develop and deliver new features in an efficient way.
• Handle Customer Adaptation or Product Maintenance work and perform trouble-shooting for whole product upon customer request.
• Design documentation like component description and modeling during system design and implementation.
• Co-operate with teams from multiple sites to ensure good quality of the whole product.
 
 Qualifications
 
 Basic:
• University Major in in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information Technology, and Electronics, .Outstanding academic record
• English certificate degree. Fluent in English
• Excellent in team working
• Willing to share knowledge
• Outstanding communication skill and open personality
• Organized
• Customer oriented
• Capable of working under pressure
• Be initiative and accountable
 
 Experience/knowledge within the following areas is required:
• Outstanding C/C++ programming skill on Linux
• Experience in design modeling (UML, Rapsody)
• Deep knowledge in Unix/Linux tool chain: compilers, debuggers, memory profilers
• Linux or Unix administrator and user skill
• Good knowledge in software configuration management (CVS ,Clear Case)
• Protocol knowledge(e.g. TCP/IP, VRRP, IP routing)
• Troubleshooting skills
 
 Experience/knowledge within the following areas is considered as a plus:       
• Work experience in GPRS or WCDMA system
• Good knowledge in Router or Switch
• Good knowledge in network tools (wire shark).
• Mastership in scripting languages: python, perl, shell/bash
• Experience in software performance and scalability. Software Profiling & optimization techniques.
