Join an exciting customer-focused team within the Companyligent Systems Group (ISG) as a hardware (power supply) Engineer.  The IAG/DCSG/ISG team is seeking an experienced power supply hardware engineer to work directly with customers in PRC.  Responsibilities in this role include helping with power supply verification, documentation and design consultation. You must be fluent in Mandarin and English with good communication skills.

 

 

The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) with 3+ years experience of power supply design, validation and consultation. Additional qualifications include:

- Familiar with control loop design and simulation tools: SPICE, MathCAD, Allegro PCB viewer, Company VRD 11.0 and VRD 12.0

- At least 3 years experience designing DC to DC converters with emphasis on single phase and multi-phase buck regulators including selecting and evaluating: power supply controllers

MOSFETs and MOSFET drivers, MOSFET heatsinks, input and output inductors, input and output capacitors.

- Experienced with bench power supplies, oscilloscope and electronic loads required

- Experience with PCB rework, Vector Network Analyzer desirable

 

 

- Studying customer schematics and PCB layout drawings and provide feedback and recommendations and hints required to help the customers design meet Company specifications.

- Evaluating the performance of power supplies on a test bench, including power supply sequencing, efficiency, DC accuracy, temperature compensation, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, small signal loop response (Bode plot), and large signal load step and release transient response

- Direct customer support and training for power supply enabling issues related to ISG products

- Some customer travel is required.
