IP & Broadband Network Management System Senior Solution Designer

Job Objective:
To be responsible to pre-study, design OAM solution with suitable products profile, deliver design documents, give verification instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and receive requirement from product manager and customer, analyze the requirement based on available OAM and IP products
- Perform design work for OAM network to satisfy function and performance requirement
- Drive product requirement towards product development team and product manager
- Work closely with EMS, NMS and IP system designer, buildup competence network, be able to investigate unknown issues initiatively, and make technical decision
- Drive proof of concept test
- Work closely with I&V team, for test spec design and review, and test instruction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Rich experience of EMS and NMS system design
- Knowledge of IP network and other L2 or L3 protocols and networks products.
- Experience of live network management system design is preferred
- Solid knowledge of element management and network management system. Knowledge in NBI interface and system
- Deep understanding for EMS, NMS and NBI function and performance Solid knowledge of EMS, NMS and NBI products
- Solid skill of NMS operation is preferred
- Deep understanding for SNMP and other network management protocols
- Experience with the following equipment is preferred: IXIA, N2X, Test Center
- Knowledge of basic UNIX operation is required
- Basic knowledge of script language is a plus
- Strong teamwork skills
- Good English and communication skills is mandatory
