Responsibilities
Responsible for RF design and verification of mobile phone reference design which can be used by any mobile phone makers to make the real mobile product.
In detail, the main responsibilities of this role include: customer/project requirements analysis, key components selection, making test plan & test specification,
RF schematics design, layout supports and review, prototype builds supports, RF calibration, testing and verification etc.
Requirements
- At least bachelor degree in electrical engineering
- At least 8 years working experience in mobile phone industry
- At least 7 years hands-on experience in mobile phone RF design, calibration and verification
- Hands-on experience on RF circuitry design, PCB layout support and RF issues debugging and failure analysis
- Experience on ADS and/or HFSS simulation tools
- Familiar with Cadence/Allegro CAD tool
- Good communication skills with colleagues and with customers
- Proficient in English
RF Driver
Beijing
Responsibility:
Develop IMC chipset RF subsystem low level functional Implementation;
Participate in concept designs for introduce new feature to improve performance and design specification development; Responsible for assigned projects RF component algorithm optimization and verification;
Review the implementation of RF software design, ensure solid development process is being utilized smoothly;
Perform RF driver defects management, tracking the root cause and take quick corrective actions;
Directly customer coordinate, offering advice in customer¡¯s design phase and make training to help understand the solution;
Support factory calibration builds, identify problems reported by customers;
Qualifications:
More than 6 years relevant professional work experience, ideally in the development of portable wireless devices, experience in GSM/CDMA mobile phone design is desired;
Leadership must be observed based on previous working experience with team size above 5.
Embedded software experience on low lever RF driver design, AFC, AGC, APC algorithm, Timer event control and calibration;
Familiar with 3GPP and MIPI_DigRF standards;
Familiar with communication between MCU and DSP;
Have certain GSM/CDMA/UMTS/LTE L1 experience; Good knowledge in RF circuit design and integration the blocks such as Crystal, PLL, LNA, PA, SAW, etc;
Proficient with RF equipment for lab usage, e.g. CMU200, Agilent8960, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, etc;
Solid debugging skills, familiarity with ARM architecture, emulators/JTAG-debuggers; Strong experience in ASM/C/C++ programming;
Strong English communication skill for both oral and written;
Fast learning, self-motivation, team player;
Bachelor or above with a major electronic engineering or relevant.
