Objective of the Job
· To research, specify, implement, verify and maintain cost efficient production test system, to meet new product, transferred product or product maintenance project requirement.
· To designate and implement test process for new and transferred products
· To drive production yield improvement, test time reduction
· To improve test equipment performance, as well as test master support to clone and EMS.
Responsibilities
· To research, specify, implement, verify and improve Test-Methods for Production Test Solution for a Product under development or maintenance in product design unit, including SW, HW with the aim to automate the test methods.
· Providing volume production and projects related technical support to Company Products:
· Participate in Design for Test (DfT), test solutions and test processes definition for NPI (New Product Introduction) / TPI (Transfer Product Introduction) and volume production.
· Build up test stations for NPI, TPI and capacity ramp up of existing operations.
· Continuously improve test productivity in the whole manufacturing process by shortening test time, increasing test yield and optimizing test process.
· Prepare test instruction test equipments.
· Take test master responsibilities to support clone and EMS factories to set up their own production test competence, overall control and monitor their test related issues.
· To secure test competence development.
· Comply with and follow the directive, instructions and procedures in force in Company Company and the Test Engineering organization.
Authorities
· Have access to all information necessary for carrying out the responsibilities and assigned tasks.
· Qualify test solutions and processes at SEC.
· Qualify production test equipments and test instruments.
· Select and qualify all suppliers who provide test equipment, test spare part, wear parts, tool and service.
· Stop production (including clone and EMS) under conditions specified in Operational Description for Engineering.
Main Tasks
· To support NPI project manager for project integration work, such as budgeting, planning, target setting, risk analysis, technical study, etc;
· To learn product knowledge in NPI project and feedback to R&D for DfT issues, review test specification (1524- )
· To be design responsible for test method, test plan and test criteria;
· To be responsible for test system verification, including documentation by following document plan; rollout of new products.
· Prepare test instruction, Give training and certify test technicians / operators.
· Initiate the root cause analysis for test related production yield loss. Support failure analysis for products failed on customer sites, in-house production and in the manufacturing process in the supply chain.
· Continuously improve test productivity in the whole manufacturing process including test time reduction, test yield and test equipment stability and reliability improvement.
· Purchase and build up test stations for NPI, TPI and capacity ramp up of existing operations.
· Provide technical support to clone and EMS factories. Take overall responsibilities on all test equipments at EMS and clone factories, regularly review their test equipment status, test capacity and test related issues.
· Coordinate the information share between all clone and EMS, collect the requests and escalate to the designer after verification, distribute the good experience to all sites.
· To find, learn and research new test theories, principles and technologies.
Requirement for the Job
· University diploma or above in Test engineering, Electronics
· Engineering, Automation or equivalent;
· Good knowledge in operation and programming of test instruments
· Good problem analysis and solving skills;
· Good knowledge of coding language (C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, etc.)
· Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading and writing
· Good communication skills and social ability, being a team player;
· Be flexible, enthusiastic, creative and pro-active.
