Sr. Safety Test Engineer

Objective of the job
To work with Safety Approval within CBC/XR projects
Obtain and maintain a wide knowledge of Company wireless communication products and I&V environment and methodologies used within Company R&D Centers and in other organizations.
Assure that the safety approval activities within CBC/XR are performed efficiently.
Responsibilities
· To define safety scope, make test plan and book test houses
· To drive safety approval activities
· To review and release safety test reports.
· Safety expert in PAEM
· To participate in required operational development of the RA process
· To participate in safety testing
· Responsible for Trouble Report (TR) and Change Request (CR) handling within the objects.
· External support, e.g. NAL and standardization of CCSA/TC9.
· Comply with and follow the directive, instructions and procedures in force in the company and CBC/XR.
Main tasks
· Safety Approval within CBC/XR projects.
· Improve safety approval efficiency.
· Establishment and development of safety test environment within CBC/XR.
Qualifications
· Master or Bachelor degree, major in EE or equivalent
· Good knowledge of Wireless Communication systems
· Familiar with product safety standards including IEC/EN/UL 60950-1, IEC/EN/UL 60950-22, IEC/EN 60529, IEC/EN 60825 series, UL 50 and etc.
· Comprehensive knowledge on regulatory standards and regulatory approval procedure
· Good documentation knowledge
· Excellent communication and co-ordination skills
· Fluent in English speaking and writing
· Independent, self-motivated, enthusiasm and well organized with analytical mind
· Strong initiative and learning willingness
