Job Description
Electronic Distributors are companies providing Supply Chain services between Component Manufacturers and OEM¡¯s. The Global Commodity Manager is in charge of defining and managing a Supply Chain Strategy with Distributors fully aligned with Company Component Sourcing and manufacturing strategy.
The actual Company spend with Distributors amount for approx 200M€

Key Missions
1. To optimize the Supply Chain cost by leveraging Distributors Services and implementing Supply chain programs customized for the Company Business.
2. To lead the Supplier Development process with the Preferred Distributors and lead the Supplier Performance management programs¨C cost, quality, delivery.
3. Conduct global Negotiations on specific technologies where Distributors provide higher competitivity vs the manufacturers.
 
Profile
He / she is fluent in English.
He / she demonstrates
- Strong management capabilities to lead functional technical teams as well as Suppliers teams.
- Good communication skills and strong capabilities to convince and influence.
- Expertise in negotiations
- Strong technical knowledge to interface and work with R&D teams both internal and external.
 
 
 
Capacitors Commodity Manager

Job Description
The Capacitor Commodity manager is in charge of the definition and the management of the Company Purchasing strategy related to the different capacitors technologies ¨C aluminium, film, ceramic and tantalum capacitors. Those technologies represent a spend of approx 80M€ per year.

Key missions are:
1. To maintain a Market technology watch: new technologies / solutions / suppliers. Identify and assess technologies in collaboration with innovation teams and component engineering. Get supplier roadmap and disseminate within the R&D teams.
2. To work with suppliers to promote co-development and to facilitate innovation with preferred suppliers. Conduct innovation review/workshops with suppliers.
3. To contribute to the settlement of the most critical  quality/technical crisis in his/her technological field
4. To lead the Supplier Development process with the Preferred Suppliers including Supplier Performance management ¨C cost, quality, delivery.
5. To conduct Global Negotiations.
6. To closely cooperate with the R&D teams to ensure sourcing strategies match R&D demands.
 
Profile
He / she is fluent in English and ideally in other languages like Japanese

He / she demonstrates
