BBA Embedded Software Engineer

Description
- Responsible for design and maintenance of Company IP and Broadband products.
- Responsible for writing technical documents, e.g. Implementation proposal, Design specification, and etc.
- Responsible for design and implement software modules, review codes and documents, and perform unit test and integration of SW functions.
- Efficiently communicate with engineers from other teams in China and other countries.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. or B.Sc in telecommunication engineering or computer science or related discipline (Masters preferred)
- Good knowledge of communication network, and good understanding of TCP/IP stack and Ethernet is mandatory.
- Good skills in C programming, good Linux knowledge. Strong problem solving and good troubleshooting ability.
- Open and active, fast learner, good team player and able to work in an extremely fast pace.
- Fluent English in written and oral communications.
- Experience on embedded software development before.
- 2~3 year Experiences in at least 1 of below 4 categories:
(1) Protocols: some experience of 802.1d/1p/1q, VLAN (tagging, QinQ, QoS), Synchronous Ethernet, Spanning tree, routing protocols, IGMP, 802.1x, ARP, DHCP, WIFI;
(2) Voice: some experience of SIP or H.248, DSP/SLIC/SLAC chip related development;
(3) RTOS embedded: some experience of bootloader, VxWorks OS, Linux OS, driver, BSP;
(4) Management protocol/tool: some experience of WebGUI, SNMP, TR069/TR098/TR104 or OMCI (PON).
- It is a plus if have experiences on xPON systems or other FTTx technologies, especially GPON.
