MISSION :
The Global Commodity Director ¡°Electromechanical¡± manages a business of 350M€
His/her missions are:
l defining and implementing the Company Electric Sourcing Strategy for the Electromecahnical Product portfolio covering Relays, Fans, Fuses, Motors and Windings and reprensent a spend of 350M€..
l leading the Supplier Development programs to achieve Supply Excellence.
l leading the Commodity buyers Team across the different Company Business Units to boost the overall Purchasing objectives and performances.
ACTIVITIES :
l Define, validate, segment and optimize the suppplier base.
l Be directly involved in achieving the commodities's purchasing efficiency goals, without comprising quality and logistics aspects.
l In collaboration with operational entities / countries, form and head up a cross-company "Core Team", handling at least 80% of the commodities's activity.
l Directly manage the commodities¡¯s major suppliers and get personally involved in global negotiations with these suppliers on behalf of the Group.
l Provide adequate local support to the members of the "Core Team" (assistance in "tough" negotiations, methodology, tools, communication on global actions that are planned or underway).
l Communicate and share useful network information with internal players using the database selected by the Group.
l Lead Global Supplier Business Review to oversee the commodity¡¯s performance and launch any necessary corrective actions
RESPONSIBILITES :
l Define, promote and ensure application of the Commodity Strategy.
l Analyze, formalize and globalize Group entity requirements in order to optimize supplier market sourcing, including those currently underway for new product development projects.
l Head up Commodity globalization and internationalization efforts by involving relevant internal players.
l Coordinate and continuously challenge the network's portfolio of suppliers through
- Screening and qualification of new suppliers;
- Systematic periodic new consultations;
- Changes of suppliers;
- Consolidation of network activities on target suppliers.
l Monitor and drive performance improvement in areas such as quality, cost service, delivery and technology.

The Global Commodity Director ¡°Passives and Optoelectronics devices¡± manages a Business of 150M€ as well as manages the ¡°Distributors¡± business 190M€.
His/her missions are
l defining and implementing the Schneider Electric Sourcing Strategy for the Passive Components and Optoelectronic devices.
l leading the Supplier Development programs to achieve Supply Excellence.
l leading the Commodity buyers Team across the different Company Business Units to boost the overall Purchasing objectives and performances.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
l Top school in China, MBA in famous university is a plus
Job Related Experience:
l At least 10 years working experience in purchasing related field
Business Understanding:
l Good tech knowledge on manufacturing/engineering/quality; strong expertise on purchasing operations, strategy and people management.
Others:
l Fluent English both in speaking and writing. |
