IS / IT Program Manager

Description:
Looking for a highly motivated, results oriented IT program manager with strong background in information technology, operations, program and project management. Proven ability to improve performance and productivity of engineering community by identifying IT capabilities and improve IT service delivery. As an engineering program manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, capturing, prioritizing and implementing all IS/IT activities related to a DUIB China. Additionally candidate must be able to identify the gaps and risks and work with other functions to provide a plan to address them. Must have strong analytical skills with attention to detail, while driving toward strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
The following are highlights of the responsibilities
- Must understand business impact of actions, and ensure customer and stakeholder concerns are heard
- Manage customer expectations and follow-though on commitments
- Quickly adjust to changing circumstances and environments
- Capture and understand the requirements from R&D towards IS/IT
- Determine the IS/IT tools, services, capabilities that are required to significantly increase engineering productivity
- Capture the requirements of the engineering community and identify areas of opportunity, prioritize and help drive putting them on the roadmap
- Ensure improvements are assessed and well understood within engineering
- Establish close working level relationship with suppliers
- Monitor, track and resolve IT and support issues
- Service Delivery experience
- Be able to define relevant metrics and KPIs
- Establish Continuous Improvement Programs
- Project and Status Reporting
- Establish Incident Reporting and executive dashboards
- Understand Product development and support
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline, Masters preferred.
- 8+ years experience in Information Technology, Enterprise Applications, and Infrastructure
- Past experience supporting engineering functions
- Thorough understanding of enterprise solutions and engineering tools
- Must foster strong customer advocacy and work collaboratively with cross organization teams
- Excellent communications and problems solving skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical data
