Senior LTE PHY layer architect

In this position, as a LTE PHY layer design architect in Company China Research Center.
- You will be responsible for LTE PHY layer architecture design on Company processor.
- Responsible architecture, specification, and high level design documentation
- Responsible for performance analysis, and lead PHY team to design efficient wireless algorithms on Company processor for base station
Qualifications
You should possess at least a bachelor degree in electrical engineering or computer science with at least 5-6 years of experience on wireless PHY layer design and architect experience
Must have:
- Experienced on wireless PHY layer processing and design based on DSP, or FPGA, or other processors.
- The ability for PHY layer architecture, specification, and high level design
- Performance analysis capability
- PHY software function partition and module interface design.
- In-depth understanding of LTE PHY processing procedure such as BS procedure for transmit and receive, random access, downlink and uplink control channel procedure
- In-depth understanding of LTE PHY protocol and algorithms, such as OFDM, MIMO, channel coding, channel estimation etc.
- Strong C/C++ programming skill on DSP or embedded processor or Company processor.
- Experience and ability to work independently and in a team environment

In this position, as a senior software engineer on Linux and RTOS in Company China Research Center, you will be responsible for system software design for base station including memory management, multi-thread design, real time task scheduler for efficient scheduling tasks among multi-cores, you will also be responsible for real time performance analysis and improvement
Qualifications
You should possess at least a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or computer science with > 5 years of experience on software design on Linux and RTOS.
Must have:
- Experience on multi-core programming.
- Solid background experience on Linux OS and embedded OS.
- Solid background on Company® Architecture and programming experience on Company® Architecture
- Proven experience on Linux and RTOS programming, particular on the task scheduling part.
- Experience and ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem solving capability self-motivated and work under pressure.
- Ability on embedded software architecture design, performance analysis

Senior project manager

Responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the development and/or overseeing sustaining activities for software project within Company china research center. This individual is responsible for the overall success of the LTE base station software under development. The Program/Project manager acts as the peer + 1 leader of all the functions and disciplines contributing to the software development effort, with responsibility for the total success of the program.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Translate product requirements along with functional implementation plans into comprehensive project plans.
- Integrate and reconcile quality system requirements, user needs, business and financial considerations, resource constraints, and product roadmap considerations.
- Identify and resolve conflicts and make the hard calls between competing priorities and constraints.
- Maintain project plan of record, communicate status, issues and progress to the extended team and management.
Qualifications
You should possess at least a bachelor degree in electrical engineering or computer science with 5-7 years of experience on embedded software design and project management. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience or capability in the following areas:
- Defining and leading complex multidisciplinary programs across organizational boundaries
- Experienced on software design and software management
- Experienced on leading cross functional teams in the development and execution of a project schedule, including defining work breakdown structure, interdependencies, durations, critical path analysis.
- Successfully managing resources, schedules and business priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Working within a rigorous Quality Management System.
- Improving efficiency and reducing throughput time in complex engineering projects
- Ability to travel up to 15% to other company locations and customer/partner sites is required.
- Previous experience on telecom embedded software and base station software is highly preferred.
