PDU Common Component I&V Engineer

Description
· Design, review and execute the test plan/test specification. Analyze bug (TR) reports found during the test and verify the fix for the bugs.
· Work in cross-functional team environment with system and design engineer: Participate in requirement, design and test document reviews; Drive quick resolution of the problems by coordinating the test with design and system engineer teams.
· Have automation knowledge to participate in design discussion to improve test efficiency.
· Give technical inputs, seminars or knowledge sharing among the team members.
· Prime test sub-project, identify test boundary and approach to drive the project to completion with success.
· Leverage good people and communication skill to work with cross functional teams on project, resource planning and conflict resolution.
Qualifications
Education Requirement:
Master/Bachelor degree in CS, EE, Telecom or equivalent with minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skill Requirement:
Solid knowledge in Networking protocols and test strategy.
Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas are required:
o Transmission systems, e.g. SDH/PDH
o L2 & L3 Ethernet Switching
o Carrier Ethernet
o Routing
o Network Management
o SNMP
o TCP/IP Protocol Stack
o Test equipments, e.g. Ixia, Agilent, Spirent,etc.
o Linux server environment
Experience with automation test & knowledge of Java, Perl/TCL language are preferred.
Experience with SW development is a plus.
· Familiar with testing process and work flow are required.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
· Strong sense of responsibility and self motivated
· Strong teamwork skills.
