Company China R&D LTE Research Center is looking for (Senior) PHY layer DSP SW engineers for LTE eNodeB. In the challenging of LTE wireless projects, China R&D LTE Research Center does the systemization, implementation, and test/integration of the LTE eNodeB SW/HW, and its SW department does the systemization, implementation, and test/integration of the SW. Today we develop products both in C and Assembly. As a (Sr.) PHY layer SW designer in our team you will work on SW design, implementation and documentation for LTE physical layer. You will participate in systemization together with people from system unit and other teams as well as integration work and test together with people from HW design and from Verification. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues is part of the work. You will also participate in pre-studies and feasibility studies when needed. The work may also include improvement of SW development methods and implementation of new tools/environments i.e. continuous improvements. To enforce our software development capacity, we are looking for experienced PHY layer software designers with the ambition to grow and take responsibility, and become an important contributor within our base station development.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. or B.Sc in Computer Science, Wireless Communication or Electronic Engineering.
- 3+ years SW development experience.
- Familiar with LTE Physical layer standard and LTE key technology.
- Proficient in DSP baseband algorithm implementation.
- Good command on C language. Code optimization with assembly is an advantage.
- 3G/LTE Baseband SW design experience is preferred and 3G/LTE Baseband architecture design is an advantage.
- Embedded SW development knowledge using Realtime OS is an advantage.
- Quality and efficiency minded, analytical thinking.

In the challenging of LTE wireless projects, China R&D LTE Research Center does the systemization, implementation, and test/integration of the LTE eNodeB SW/HW, and its SW department does the systemization, implementation, and test/integration of the SW. The System department does the requirements analysis, systemization, architecture design, and participation in the test/integration of the product. As a system engineer in our team you will work on systemization together with people from System unit as well as integration work together with people from HW design and from Verification. You will also participate in pre-studies and feasibility studies as well as in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. or B.Sc in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering
- Proficient with physical layer principles of TD-LTE wireless communication system and experienced the latest physical layer implementation
- Well understanding of Digital Signal Processing knowledge and methodology
- 3 years or above DSP system development experience on Baseband architecture/system design
- Proficient in DSP baseband algorithm implementation. Especially TD-LTE physical layer
- Excellent systematic thinking and design knowledge in baseband architecture design.
- Deep DSP HW knowledge with Freescale, TI such brands.

Today we develop products both in C and Assembly. As a Senior PHY layer DSP Algorithm Design Engineer in our team you will work on algorithm design, implementation and documentation for LTE physical layer. You will participate in systemization together with people from SW design unit and other teams as well as integration work and test together with people from HW design and from Verification. - Profound foundation in wireless communication signal processing technique, in-depth understanding of LTE PHY protocol and algorithms, such as OFDM, MIMO and beamforming.
- Experience and ability on fix point algorithm design.
- Skillful with Matlab, C/C++.
