Senior I&V Lead Engineer of PDU Common Component

Job Description
· Work with System and technology engineers on the product requirement, design tests based on the requirements to assure the quality of PDU Common Component.
· Identify test scope and design test strategy to achieve high test coverage with managed budget requirement.
· Design, review and execute the test plan/test specification. Analyze bug (TR) reports found during the test and verify the fix for the bugs.
· Work with cross-functional teams to drive project and take challenges to complete resolution with innovation.
· Have automation knowledge to participate in design discussion to improve test efficiency.
· Give technical guidance, seminars and share knowledge among team members.
· Leverage good people and communication skill to work with cross functional teams on project, resource planning and conflict resolution.
· Manage budget, select test equipment , and forecast , track required headcounts.
· Recruit and assign talents to projects and task based on right competence.
Qualifications
Education Requirement:
BS/MS degree in CS, EE, Telecom or equivalent with minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience
Technical Skill Requirement:
Solid knowledge in Networking protocols and test methodology.
Knowledge and experience in couple or more of the following areas are required:
· Transmission systems, e.g. SDH/PDH
· L2 & L3 Ethernet Switching
· Carrier Ethernet
· Routing, MPLS, QoS
· Network Management, SNMP
· IPv4, IPv6
· Test equipments, e.g. Ixia, Agilent, Spirent, etc.
· Linux server environment
Experience in test automation & knowledge of Java, Perl/TCL, Jsystem are preferred.
Experience in software development is a plus.
Experience in testing process and test work flow are required.
Soft Skill Requirement:
· Good communication skills and social ability.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
· Strong sense of responsibility and self motivated
· Strong teamwork skills.
