Description
MSC Feature Development Center (FDC) in Shanghai plays a very active role in the MSC features development within PDU MSC. We are an agile Feature Development Center, where simplicity, continuous attention to technical excellence, and quality is our highest focus & priority, to satisfy our customers.
To strengthen quality assurance activities in our FDC we are looking for an open & service minded, agile, and result Quality Manager; who can support & empower our Feature Development Teams to achieve quality objectives, drive & represent FDC quality activities in Product development units (PDU) AQuA (Quality assurance fora).
Your responsibility:
· Sense quality needs & Initiate quality related activities & provide quality improve items.
· Focus on results and outcome, rather than activity checklist.
· Coach team to focus on results and outcome, take ownership of quality & technical excellence.
· Coach FDC development teams; come up with quality related targets for our team's self tracking and improvements.
· Coach and monitor FDC development teams so that they learn from safe failure and also success; learn to accept.
· Guide and support FDC development teams when QA and QC needs are raised.
· Observe and monitor FDC development team quality related activities.
· Evaluate & facilitate ways/ what is the best way for our teams to learn & grow.
· Support & leave the development teams freedom to explorer and to learn.
· Performs Quality planning, QA and QC activities on organizational level.
· Aligned and well defined metrics and KPIs/targets on PDU level with E2E view.
· Maintains, validates, and analyzes quality related data and metrics.
· Foster open, honest and effective communication.
· Promote continuous improvement culture.
· Act with accountability.
Qualifications
· You are an experienced Quality Manager; in agile, in large, cross functional and divers organization.
· You are willing to take on a big responsibility in a large, cross functional and divers organization.
· The ability to support & drive quality assurance objectives within an Agile development environment.
· You are an excellent communicator, and can abstract to the level required by different stakeholders.
· You are a self-starter, self organized & independent with drive and personal skills to highlight and provide solutions across FDC and to support the development teams to accomplish the desired result.
· You have very Good written and spoken English.
You should also have:
· A university degree, with experience in Telecom industries.
· A recognized quality management qualification.
· MSS (Mobile Soft Switch) technical knowledge is a plus.
