Responsibility:
- Provide excellent leadership and motivational skills to ensure the quality goals and objectives.
- Drive and execute a true quality system into the organization.
- Lead the quality function into becoming a pro-active organization, based around world class and best practice principles.
- Lead quality improvement activities to ensure the organization achieves world-class quality status.
- Drive the early involvement activities of Quality Assurance such as assessment of DVT, Comprehensive HALT and HASA/HASS and source qualification
- Take the lead on customer external quality improvement activities.
- Introduce and monitor relevant quality metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement of supplier's quality, cycle, and delivery performance through Six Sigma & LEAN tool.
- Monitor supplier non-conformance performance and identify and drive process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Work closely with Sourcing, Business teams, Manufacturing, and Engineering to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements
- ISO9001/TL9000 & other relevant quality system/ certification owner ¨C lead all customer and regulatory Audit and Certification activities in the Organization
- Lead quality group and coordinate with production to work out control plans for new transferred products and lines as to ensure and improve product quality.
- Champion the use of Six Sigma & LEAN in problem solving, promote lean and Six Sigma, mentor Green Belts in the organization.
Requirement
- At least 8 years experience in quality includes 5 years in a manager role within a manufacturing quality, reliability test or SQE; prefer to have Lean & Six Sigma manufacturing experience and qualification as ISO Auditor.
- Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to successfully manage change in a demanding environment with strong leadership.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude, specifically with product reliability test (HALT/HASS/HASA)
- Analytical & problem solving skills - data driven and results orientated.
- Green Belt Certification, prefer to have Black Belt Certification
