Manufacturing QA Manager

Responsibility:
  1. Provide excellent leadership and motivational skills to ensure the quality goals and objectives.
  2. Drive and execute a true quality system into the organization.
  3. Lead the quality function into becoming a pro-active organization, based around world class and best practice principles.
  4. Lead quality improvement activities to ensure the organization achieves world-class quality status.
  5. Drive the early involvement activities of Quality Assurance such as assessment of DVT, Comprehensive HALT and HASA/HASS and source qualification
  6. Take the lead on customer external quality improvement activities.
  7. Introduce and monitor relevant quality metrics.
  8. Drive continuous improvement of supplier's quality, cycle, and delivery performance through Six Sigma & LEAN tool.
  9. Monitor supplier non-conformance performance and identify and drive process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  10. Work closely with Sourcing, Business teams, Manufacturing, and Engineering to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements
  11. ISO9001/TL9000 & other relevant quality system/ certification owner ¨C lead all customer and regulatory Audit and Certification activities in the Organization
  12. Lead quality group and coordinate with production to work out control plans for new transferred products and lines as to ensure and improve product quality.
  13. Champion the use of Six Sigma & LEAN in problem solving, promote lean and Six Sigma, mentor Green Belts in the organization.
Requirement
  1. At least 8 years experience in quality includes 5 years in a manager role within a manufacturing quality, reliability test or SQE; prefer to have Lean & Six Sigma manufacturing experience and qualification as ISO Auditor.
  2. Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  3. Must be able to demonstrate ability to successfully manage change in a demanding environment with strong leadership.
  4. Demonstrated technical aptitude, specifically with product reliability test (HALT/HASS/HASA)
  5. Analytical & problem solving skills - data driven and results orientated.
  6. Green Belt Certification, prefer to have Black Belt Certification
