Software Manager

We are looking for an experienced software development manager who can lead a team of 5-10 people and has the potential to manage larger teams. You will be working in a fast expanding company in the unified communications industry, and have the opportunity of growing a young and enthusiastic team to its maturity. You will use your technical, management, and people skills to
1. Ensure on-time and high quality delivery of product development targets
2. Facilitate continuous growth in your team¡¯s technical competency
3. Coach and mentor your team members to help them grow in their career path
4. Be the contact point and represent your team in projects requiring international cooperation within and outside Company.
Requirements:
1. Master Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
2. Excellent English skills, especially oral English communication.
3. 6+ year experience in software development
4. 2+ year experience of managing a team of 5-10 people
5. Good experience of recruiting, coaching and mentoring team members
6. Experience of managing a full product cycle from product definition to design, implementation, testing, release, and sustaining
7. Strong technical background in any 3 of the following areas
a. Software architecture
b. Programming in C/C++/Java/C# in a multi-processor/multi-process environment
c. Embedded software development
d. Communication protocols such as h.323, SIP
e. Audio/video/image processing and/or audio video codecs
f. UI and user experience design
