Job responsibility:
- Define and maintain high-level solution architecture;
- Define and manage technical requirement on the nodes & clients involved in the solution according to customer and business needs;
- Present and actively sell the solution to customer;
- System Study on the introduction of new feature/function, provide end-2-end solution as well as rough cost estimation on the development effort;
- Design and improve solution characteristics;
- Analyze and select third party products for the solution;
- Support product managers to clarify the solution;
- Support projects regarding solution issues;
- Develop prototype and secure IPR;
- Act as contact interface regarding solution issues, represent in external review/discussion, including customer discussion and presentation.
- Contribute in process development and improvement.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- University Bachelor or Master Degree in any of the following majors: Computer Science, Telecommunication, Electronic Engineering with more than Five years experience in related field is required.
- Good knowledge in Object Oriented Analyze & Design.
- Solid knowledge on telecom infrastructure: GSM, WCDMA, Wireline.
- Background in terminal & client development is an advantage.
- Experience in unified communication (UC) development or marketing is an advantage.
- Can work independently, easy to work with and strong team work spirit.
- Good English communication skills (both in written and verbal), able to express own thinking clearly.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply to work tasks.
- Innovative and solution thinking capabilities.

MPS System Engineer

Responsibility:
Define high level technical requirement on positioning system according to the business requirements from product manager;
System study on the introduction of new features, provide high level solution with cost estimation on the development effort;
Analyse third party products (HW/SW) and propose buy or design alternative according to business requirement;
Technically lead the development in project to ensure system architect and optimize the system characteristics;
Provide technical support to product managers on customer meetings / workshops / RFx for business opportunity;
Participate in standardization activities (e.g. 3GPP, 3GPP2, OMA);
Lead prototype activity to validate new ideas / concepts;
Contribute in process development and improvement.
Qualifications

Solid knowledge on telecom infrastructure: GSM, WCDMA, IMS.
Good knowledge on Database usage, e.g. experience on Oracle 10g for UNIX platform.
