Research Scientist on computer architecture and micro-architecture

Responsibilities:
- Work as a research scientist to explore and design embedded system, its IO subsystem and innovative applications of these technologies to address emerging market challenges.
- Play a proactive role in defining research direction, initiating research ideas, exploring and validating of the ideas through simulation, emulation and silicon implementation, and publishing results as high quality research papers.
- Anticipate issues and addresses proactively.
- Work under limited direction and within general practices, follow the high level research direction and goal, define and execute research project with solid timeline and deliverables.
- Participate in technical discussion with internal and external partners to drive the requirements definition, and fine tune research effort to fit requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years working experience in computer architecture, micro architecture, chip/circuit design, embedded system and IO protocols related R&D
- Strong sense of urgency and teamwork
- Leader mind set with ability to work well both alone or lead teams
- Effective English reading, writing skills are required, verbal communication is a plus
- High quality publication record a big plus
- Experience in Reconfigurable Logic micro architecture is a plus
