Job Objective:
SW Design unit is a part of PDU CC (Product Development Unit Common Component), located in Beijing and is responsible for develop and maintain Ethernet related features/functions within common component framework
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for team
- Resource planning, cost control, task allocation
- Team project planning and tracking
- Leading the team to reach project milestone on time with good quality
- To recruit, develop and manage competence, performance and compensation of team.
- Ensure proper coaching and knowledge transfer within team.
- Build up strong relationships to all relevant internal and external customers and partners.
- Contribute to operational excellence goals by contributing/driving continuous improvement of the development process within PDU CC.
Qualifications
- MS or BS degree in computer science or telecom area
- More than 10 years' working experience in R&D area
- Strong leadership competence and excellent people management skills
- Good understanding of software development and quality control process
- Able to motive people and communicate a clear vision to the team
- Work with initiative and have good sense of responsibility
- Good in both oral and written English and Chinese
- Strong technical background in telecom industry
- Eextensive experience with Platform OAM SW and middleware. Strong architectural experience
- Experienced on IP and broadband technologies, such TCP/IP, VOIP, DCN, Ethernet, SDH, PDH and etc.
- High capacity - manage to balance daily operation with continuous development of employees and organization
- Good experience from change management and excellent teamwork
