The Department
The Product Support R&D department in Technology R&D is responsible for HSE & Type Certification, Documentation, Product Configuration and Spare parts on product platforms. The tasks are solved in close cooperation with other departments and through participation in product upgrade projects. Furthermore the department is responsible for Request for Non Standard Products, Engineering Change Management and Documentation Systems
Responsibilities and Tasks
With reference to the Senior Manager of Product Compliance, you will be responsible for Type Certification and Health, Safety & Environment deliverables to product platforms and development projects.
Your tasks will involve, amongst others things:
- People management, leading and motivating a team of 3 employees.
- Manage and support development activities within Product Compliance.
- Close cooperation and coordination with manager colleagues located in Chennai India, Denver US and Aarhus Denmark.
- Planning of type certification tasks.
- Planning of HSE task and activities.
- Planning of ressource.
- Ensure deliverables is delivered on time.
- Continuously improve work procedures on for the Product Compliance area.
- Communicating with the Sales and Production Business Units and Technology R&D
- Communication with certifying bodies on type certification issues
- Communication with legal authorities on HSE issues
Qualifications and Work Experience
You have:
- An relevant theoretical background
- 5+ years experience within the area of compliance to requirements.
- 3+ of management experience from a global position
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to navigate in a global and dynamic environment
- Customer focus and are business minded
- Goal oriented
- English language skills on negotiation level
