Responsibilities and tasks
As Platform Manager your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Planning and leading new Platform project.
- Creating effective projects with cross-functional project members ranging from sales business units, production business units and R&D
- Developing and consolidating a world class project environment in Company Technology R&D.
- Driving complete projects in accordance with the Stage Gate Model
- Establishing and maintaining resource plans as well as providing clear overviews for prioritization
- Being first point of contact in relation to own projects
- Consolidating and communicating progress within the project team
- Acting as ambassador to a support team working in a multicultural environment
Qualifications and work experience
- You have a relevant scientific Master degree ¨C probably in engineering, business or science
- You have proven experience in project management of big / complex / cross-functional international projects and min 8 years of experience as project manager. Experience from R&D projects are an advantage but not a must
- You have solid experience in executing projects using Stage Gate Model philosophy
- You have a proven track record of demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment. You must be responsive and willing to take ownership of issues and drive solutions
- It is an advantage that you have gained experience from working in quality environment under ISO-9000, six sigma or similar and that you have experience with ERP/MRP
- You must possess strong English language skills. German skills would be convenient but not mandatory
