Test and Verification engineer

MISSION
This position reports to the Test and Verification Leader Asia/Pacific, and is responsible for software/firmware/system testing activities for new product developments, QVE (Quality Value Engineering), Maintenance and OEM developments to ensure functional and non-functional specifications are met and the product is fit for purpose.
This is a role within the QA team that is responsible for analyzing the test basis, providing feedback on the analysis, planning the test effort. Implementing and executing tests. Reporting on test activities. Aim to rapidly find defects and provide information about product quality, allowing opportunity to improve product quality and contribute to informed business product/project decisions.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Tertiary Education in a software related discipline. ISTQB Certification desirable.
Job Related Experience:
Experience in Software Testing ¨C preferably with experience in firmware & systems testing.
Business Understanding:
Familiarity with the installation and utilization of the Clipsal product range or other lighting automation systems
Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills):
Experience and knowledge of test levels, test types, testing techniques. Networking skills. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, ability to communicate with a variety of teams and levels |
