Description
Company's App Store Software Development Kit (SDK) team in SSG is looking for highly talented software engineers who want to play a role in driving Company's foray into Services to the next level! The SDK is a critical component enabling 3rd party software developers to create and/or test and/or submit their applications to Company's app store. The SDK team currently consists of Architects, Software Leads and Sr Software Engineers in U.S and Shanghai, PRC. In this position, you will be responsible to work closely with Senior architects and Software Leads to design and implement key features for Company's App Store SDK. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Participating in all phases of Software engineering cycle of the SDK key modules: architecture design, high/low level design, coding and unit testing using C and/or C++ and/or Java*
- Working with validation team to drive closure of defects and raise the software quality bar
- Responsible for technical research and/or investigation of usage models for netbooks with App Store SDK supports
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of four years of industry experience or a Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with at least two years of industry experience in software engineering. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong hands-on experience in object oriented design & development. Knowledge of various design patterns is a plus
- Assertive and knowledgeable about end-end product development life cycle
- Demonstrated experience in one of the following languages: C, C++, Java* with Windows* Operating System (OS).
- Demonstrated experience in security and threat assessment
- Linux* and/or Moblin experience is big plus
- Good problem solving skills and Proven track record of solving complex technical problems while balancing schedule constraints
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Chinese
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-Geo team setting would be an added advantage
