Description
Responsible of component engineer team in Company
Technical position in Company R&D sourcing department. The teams work with strategies and provide information and data for selection of components to be used by Company design units world wide.
Responsible for providing all CAD Part design for Printed Boards assembly and Design Rules and Standards for Printed Board and Printed Boards assembly. The unit works in close co-operation with the other units within Component engineer, as well as different HW design centers, HW Methods and Tools unit, Supply and Sourcing.
We are using Cadence systems as our main CAE tool and strong interest to use and develop these tools are required of the candidate.
The unit is responsible for:
- Geometry
- Schematics
- CAD Library Management for CAD parts.
- Maintenance of old CAD design.
- Design rules and Printed Board standards
- Design Rules and Printed Boards Assembly standards
Qualifications
Requested Competence:
- Good knowledge of, and experience of, using Cadence CAE-tools or mentor.
- Good knowledge of Printed Board Design.
- Good knowledge about assembly of Printed Boards.
- Good knowledge of Components used for Printed Boards.
- Good knowledge of SMT Production processes
- Good knowledge of English.
- Good ability of being thorough minded.
- A strong sense of quality
Requested qualification
- Bachelor degree, a engineering major/background is a plus,
- 1-2 years' experience with candance or Metor CAE tools
