Description:
Component Master is a combined position based on technical and sourcing, responsible for Component Engineer team in Company R&D Sourcing Department. This position works with Company sourcing strategies to provide information and data for selection of components to be used by Company design units world wide, and also works in close co-operation with the other units including different HW design centers, HW Methods and Tools unit, Supply and Sourcing.
Work scope
- Focus on component technology, select the proper component and solve the component issues in R&D Center projects
- Manage component data in Company¡¯s systems and provide requirements/specs
- Maintain and update component library using Cadence or Mentor CAD-tools
- Design Rules and Printed Boards Assembly standards
Qualifications:
Graduates or experienced, interested in any aspect of work scope is welcomed
- Bachelor degree or above of high level university, an engineering major is a plus
- Knowledge on electronics and mechanical components
- Knowledge on Printed Board Design and SMT process
- Good at English Speaking and Writing
- Good communication skills
- Strong sense of quality |
