We are looking for a Credit Manager that would help us build up and maintain good relationship with customers and ensure due payment from customers.
 
This position requires a combination of essential personal characteristics. You should have high level of integrity, firm and persuasive, reliable and independent. Moreover, you should possess excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
 
 
Responsibilities and Tasks
- To constantly follow-up collection of accounts receivable in a manner calculated to produce positive results and at the time maintain a positive relations with the customer.
- Working closely with sales and other internal related department to facilitate revenue growth as well as cash flow.
- Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on upcoming due payment and overdue debt
- Conduct credit investigation so that an intelligent appraisal of the customer's worth, character and ability to pay may be ascertained to justify extension of credit
- Report immediately any unfavorable information received affecting a customer's credit standing so that appropriate action maybe taken
- Preparation of timely reporting and advice to management and related functions
- Work closely with the business managers to develop budgeting assumptions, contract terms & policies
 
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Bachelor or above degree. Major in accounting, business or finance is preferred
- Minimum 8 years working experience
- At least 4 years experience of credit and risk management, Solid experience in Account Receivable operation.
- Having been working in finance industry or relevant function, in multinational companies is a plus
- A general understanding of all accounting functions is necessary for the performance of this position
- Knowledge and experience working with Financial processes and customer service processes
- Experienced in working with cross functional teams to solve business issues
- Good command of English in both writing and verbal communication
- Ability to build relationship with high ranking persons at customers
- Be able to travel frequently (At least 50%) and work overtime
- Global mindset and open mindedness
