BBA Operational Product Manager

 

Description

-        Support on the area of product strategies definition, product plans and roadmap in order to secure long term product evolution;

-        Drive substitution and phase out of products to optimize a competitive product portfolio;

-        Monitor, follow up and actively evaluate product performance, both financial and functional to optimize commercial success, i.e. continued cost reductions;

-        Manage product availability through product quality improvement, Component Last Time Buy (LTB) substitution and production yield improvements

-        Manage activities generated from product decisions for smooth product realization;

-        Collect feed-back from market to build knowledge and to evolve the product;

-        Secure appropriate product documentation in a timely and effective manner supporting successful development, marketing and sales of the product;

-        Close working relationship with product owners and related product management, sourcing/supply/services, packaging & pricing, marketing and sales unit.

                                   

Qualifications

-        Bachelor degree or above in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with 3+ year working experience from the telecom industry in HW or System design;

-        Familiar with broadband access products like xPON, xDSL etc;

-        Familiar with Ethernet/IP datacom products like Ethernet Switch, Routers etc;

-        Understanding of access and metro networking technologies;

-        Understanding of system configuration management standards, product life cycle process;

-        Self-motivated and capable of working independently on extended assignments;

-        Good at English speaking and writing;

-        Good at communication skill;

-        Teamwork spirit with demonstrated ability to work in a global team.
