Primary objective

Initiate and oversee Electrical engineering activities within a project environment.

Specific Accountabilities

Provide high level electrical engineering input into the project and develop key electrical deliverables

Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment

   Equipment specification and selection, detail design and bid evaluation/ vendor document review and approval

Direct and coordinate electrical engineers, designers and technical personnel in the execution of the project

Able to work within the CompanyParsons Quality Management System

Ensure work is carried out competently and effectively, within time and budget constraints, and that project objectives are satisfied

Ensure that all work is carried our in accordance with applicable codes and standards

Have an awareness of HS&E in Design within assigned project

Utilise software necessary to complete design

Participate in the development of electrical cost, time and resource requirement estimates on assigned projects

Detailed knowledge of power generation, electrical distribution and power systems analysis

Essential Skills/Experience

Bachelor of Engineering

Anticipate at least +8 Years plus experience in Electrical engineering

Chartered Engineer eligible for membership to Engineers Australia
