Description:
The Asia Asset Leader is responsible for managing a portion of the Asia sourced consumable parts supply chain, driving optimized planning/buying of Ultrasound service parts to provide on-time delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Overall ownership of service parts planning, procurement and availability.
Work closely with internal and external suppliers to drive supplier performance on delivery and quality.
Support continuous planning optimization.
Drive inventory optimization to reduce excess, slow moving and financial obsolesce.
Manage NPI parts stocking readiness, support milestone signoff on time.
Effectively communicate both internally and externally to achieve goals.
Identify simplification and automation opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the way we work; use LEAN concepts & principles.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 3 years supply chain experience.
Proven track record for driving supply chain performance.
Strong communication skills. Good written and spoken English; Ability to effectively communicate in English with GEHC team members, as well as external suppliers.
High energy, self-motivated
Strong organizational skills
Good team work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Black Belt
Oracle knowledge and experience
Lean Manufacturing Experience
OMLP Graduate
MBA or Masters Degree
