This Job Description applies to Solution Architect in Customer Solution & Engineering, MSSI MU China.

PURPOSE:
The purpose of the position is to actively engage in the development of the best localized solution for our customer according to specific requirements and network situations to support our business objective and goals set up by CBC/I, and to add value to the interface to the product unit and other units in CBC and to the customer. Follow up customer Project.
 
MAIN INTERFACES:
 
NAM/KAM in CBC
New business & strategy in CBC/I
Customer Adaptation dpt. In CBC/I
R&D organization in CBC.
 
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES.
To be the responsible of technical solution sales support in the areas defined by CBC/I business plan.
To provide technical solution sales support (include but not limited to: technical proposal, solution presentation, sales arguments, solution dimensioning etc.) to local account, assisting sales to be successful in their endeavours;
To promote solution Life Cycle Management service to customer (including new and existing customer);
To secure the crucial Multimedia Solution contract from technical perspective;
To actively work in the team to develop customised solutions to our customer's business opportunities;
To present product/solution information and sales arguments to the customer and ensure that the customer is updated on new Company products/solutions;
To liaise and co-ordinate with other Company units (including PDU and other org. in overseas) on technical support issues toward the customer and keep the product unit and local adaptation and solution packaging unit informed on customer's needs and activities;
To handle daily technical support issues internally and externally in the account team.
Setup the working plan according technical plan for supporting account team.
 
AUTHORITIES.
To Comply with and follow the instructions and procedures in force in the company and CBC/I.
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCIES.
University degree and above in telecommunications or related;
A minimum of 3 years experience in the field of telecommunications or related areas;
Experience in product/solution/network design in telecom industry;
Good inter-personal skills and able to communicate effectively;
Competent in planning and organising;
Able to be a team member and add values, Self-motivated and customer oriented;
Good in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
