Roles and Responsibilities

Manage part shortages reported and requested help from China-based suppliers

Identify part alternatives to improve supply flexibility and availability

Minimize PPV, raw material exposure from ECO and product EOL, inventory impact from EOL/LTB parts, and excess from reduced demand or high MOQ

Sign off ECO/MCO/Deviation

Provide cost information and assure least cost impact from ECO/MCO with timely implantation in production

On-going cost reduction opportunities with improved supply chain through qualification of local suppliers

Support Hardware engineering team on new product development (electrical components selection and BOM cost estimation & control)

Qualifications and Requirement

Bachelor degree or above, major in Engineering degree is preferred

3-5 years electrical components purchasing or sourcing experience in multi-national company;

Basic electrical/circuitry knowledge to identify part alternatives and confirm differences as well as acceptance of proposed alternatives

Hardware design experience (PCBA) preferred

Ability to work under pressure

Good pricing negotiation skill

Good communication skill, both in Chinese and English
