Responsibilities:
Analysis and definition of system level requirements for the radio access technology LTE TDD, especially in the area radio
resource management including system level and performance simulations.
The key responsibilities are:
- Analysis of standardization documents and reports
- Provisioning of feasibility studies in the field of radio resource management
- Specification of concepts and system features
- Specification of LTE TDD RRM Algorithms incl. control and O&M parameters
- Definition of system level simulator requirements for the LTE product SL simulator MoRSE
- Implementation and Verification of LTE TDD Features in MoRSE
- Definition, execution and evaluation of simulation campaigns for the determination of system level performance for the
entire LTE TDD system and specific RRM features
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in mobile network product system engineering, development, system test or network engineering
- Good knowledge within mobile network technologies, radio system architecture and functions
- Knowledge of RRM concepts and System Level Simulations in one of the radio access
technologies GSM, WCDMA, WiMAX or LTE
- Excellent Programming Skills in C/C++
- Knowledge of the radio interface of LTE FDD/TDD is desired
- Knowledge of the RLC/MAC/PDCP of LTE FDD/TDD is desired
- Master or Bachelor in telecommunication, computer science or equivalent

The System Architecture group specifies the product concepts and specifies the system features.
System Architecture for Radio Resource Management and Simulations is responsible for the RRM concepts, simulator
development, simulations and performance evaluation. This covers the design and optimization of RRM algorithms, their
control and O&M parameters, etc
