Objective of the job
Create and execute Company China strategy on standardization.
Provide standardization support to CBC Product Lines, National Accounts and Regional Offices.
Co-ordinate with resources from other unit, such as R&D and Product lines, on standardization work.
Co-ordinate with other company or organization for Company interests.
Identify new business opportunity and standard or regulatory requirement, communicate with R&D and Product lines.
Responsibility
The creation of the strategy for Company China in assigned area.
The execution of the strategy approved by the department.
The coordination of Company activity, including the resource from other unit, such as nR&D and Product Lines, in the corosponding China standardization organizations.
Collection and reporting of standardization and regulation information in the assigned area.
Provide support to other unit in the assigned area.
Other work assigned by the department.
Main Tasks
Attend standardization meeting as Company delegate.
Collect and evaluate market information from the China market and report to the department and relevant unit within the corporate.
Provide standardization support to the regions, joint ventures and national accounts.
Perform and co-ordinate relevant technical investigations for the China market.
Identify product requirement and new business opportunities due to standard or regulation.
Drive and co-ordinate joint projects with other organization.
Qualifications
University qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
A minimum of 4 years experience in the field of telecommunications of which 2 years have been in product marketing/technical sales environment.
Broad understanding of Company product folio with deep competence in one or more relevant area.
Ability to effectively communicate with different levels in internal and external organisations.
Good communication capability in English.
Good understanding of standardization techniques, negotiating, and presentation skills
