R&D O&M System Engineer

 

Description

China R&D Systems and Technology continues to focus on O&M for Telecom Networks. The deployment of 3G radio as well as the preparation for SAE and LTE require an efficient network management landscape to keep grip on the increasing complexity and to help reducing operators' OPEX.

Our team is responsible for systems management and technology push for China mainland in the areas of Core Networks and IMS. We seek an active and constructive dialogue with our customers and other Chinese decision making bodies in order to conclude on market expectations and to take influence on products that our R&D develops. This is done in a close team-up with local product management and the key accounts.

We are looking for a strong candidate to enhance our team in Beijing. Proven experience in telecom business is a must, hands-on knowledge from O&M development would be an additional asset, as systems support for customer trials and demos belong to our daily business.

 

Qualifications

M.Sc. or above in Computer science, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineer or equivalent

At least 3 years of experience in a relevant technical area (e.g. CS/PS networks, NMS/OMS, NBI, 3GPP TS32.nn)

Proven track record as Systems Manager in the Telecom industry

Good understanding of Network Management tasks from Operator perspective

Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills

Fond of working in a cross-functional environment

Fluent in verbal and written English
