Job description

The SW department does the systemization, implementation, and test/integration of the SW. Today we develop products both in C and C++.

As a SW designer in our team you will work on SW design, implementation, documentation and test. You will participate in systemization together with people from System unit as well as integration work together with people from HW design and from Verification.

Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues is part of the work. You will also participate in pre-studies and feasibility studies when needed.

The work may also include improvement of SW development methods and implementation of new tools/environments i.e. continuous improvements.

To enforce our software development capacity, we are looking for young software designers with the ambition to grow and take responsibility, and become an important contributor within our base station development.

Competence

Qualification:

·           M.Sc. or B.Sc in Computer Science or Computer software engineering or Electronic Engineering

·           3 years or above SW development experience is preferred

Technical competence:

·           Proficient in DSP baseband algorithm implementation.

·           OFDM/TD-SCDMA baseband development experience is an advantage.

·           Good knowledge in functional and object oriented SW design using C, C++ and Matlab.

·           Embedded SW development knowledge using Realtime OS and the knowledge in digital HW is an advantage.

·           It is also good if you have competence in mobile base station SW development.

·           Good at taking initiatives and follow up issues
