This requisition is for an individual to manage the F68 Factory Automation Decisions Support Systems Group (DSS) in Dalian, China. It is an International one-way hire, and not an expatriate position. The successful candidate will be part of the Local Factory Automation Staff at F68, reporting to the Factory Automation Manager and governed by the benefits and salary programs associated with the location.

Key deliverables and responsibilities:
- Ownership and responsibility for recruiting and hiring a local DSS team consisting of software development and application support professionals.
- Manage a team of software professionals maintaining the decision support systems including engineering analysis tools, reports, databases and web-based applications.
- Develop and implement business and engineering processes to guarantee high availability and performance from these systems. Create sustaining processes that will provide long term stability and performance of the decision support suite.
- Develop plans and implement organizational processes for developing employees and organization capability. 
- Participation in planning the automation portion of the F68 start-up, assisting in the development of schedules and CPAs. Working closely with the expatriate team to deliver the automation systems on-time.
- Develop and implement programs that guarantee the safety of automation employees and hold suppliers accountable to Companys safety standards.
- Participate in the development of a ¿merge strategy¿ that will effectively move responsibility for the decision support systems from the expatriate installation team to the local team. Negotiate long term support models with the FSM Automation DSS Hub.
- Developing training plans for the DSS group that will result in a team fully capable of taking over system responsibility from the expatriate installation team with a high degree of confidence and success.
- Participate in developing business processes that will guarantee a high degree of success and employee satisfaction for the organization.
 
Qualifications
- BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5-10+ years experience in a Factory Automation department supporting 200mm or 300mm engineering analysis tools, databases and decision support software systems.
- Demonstrated ability to build from scratch, train and lead an organization of comprised of software and hardware professionals.
- Technical problem solving skills and knowledge including automation systems, computing systems, and factory operations knowledge.
- Understanding of financial and employee performance management processes.
- Excellent written and spoken communications.
- The ability to be successful in a highly ambiguous environment.
- A solid track record demonstrating initiative, creativity and openness to doing things differently than the norm.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese language is required.

This requisition is for an individual to manage the F68 Factory Automation Automated Material Handling Systems Group (AMHS) in Dalian, China. It is an International one-way hire, and not an expatriate position. The successful candidate will be part of the Local Factory Automation Staff at F68, reporting to the Factory Automation Manager and governed by the benefits and salary programs associated with the location.
Key deliverables and responsibilities:
- Ownership and responsibility for recruiting and hiring a local AMHS team consisting of software and hardware professionals.
- Manage a team of software and hardware professionals maintaining the factory AMHS system consisting of robotic stockers, vehicles, track and software controls.
- Develop and implement business and engineering processes to guarantee high availability and performance from these systems. Create sustaining processes that will provide long term stability and performance of the material handling systems. Included in this is a significant level of involvement with product vendors and the associated field service engineering teams.
- Develop plans and implement organizational processes for developing employees and organization capability. 
- Participation in planning the automation portion of the F68 start-up, assisting in the development of schedules and CPAs. Working closely with the expatriate team to deliver the automation systems on-time.
- Develop and implement programs that guarantee the safety of automation employees and hold suppliers accountable to Company¡¯s safety standards.
- Participate in the development of a ¿merge strategy¿ that will effectively move responsibility for the material handling systems from the expatriate installation team to the local team.

Key deliverables and responsibilities:

- Ownership and responsibility for recruiting and hiring a local SFC team consisting of software and hardware professionals.
- Manage a team of software and hardware professionals maintaining the factory shop floor control systems including applications, computing infrastructure, databases and facilities in the Remote Operations Center.
- Develop and implement business and engineering processes to guarantee high availability and performance from these systems. Create sustaining processes that will provide long term stability and performance of the shop floor control system.
- Develop plans and implement organizational processes for developing employees and organization capability. 
- Participation in planning the automation portion of the F68 start-up, assisting in the development of schedules and CPAs. Working closely with the expatriate team to deliver the automation systems on-time.
- Develop and implement programs that guarantee the safety of automation employees and hold suppliers accountable to Company¿s safety standards.

This requisition is for a Staff Integration Engineer to provide support to the F68 Local Automation Group in Dalian, China. It is an International one-way hire, and not an expatriate position. The successful candidate will be part of the Local Factory Automation Staff at F68, reporting to the Factory Automation Manager and governed by the benefits and salary programs associated with the location.

Key deliverables and responsibilities:
- Work with the expatriate installation team to develop a solid understanding of the integration of the core automation systems.
- Develop and implement business and engineering processes to guarantee high availability and performance from the overall factory automation suite. Create sustaining processes that will provide long term stability and performance of the decision support suite. Support the automation staff in uncovering and highlighting performance limiting problems.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams in solving automation problems. Bridge expatriate and local workforce organizations in building teams to address performance issues.
- Aid the automation managers in developing plans and implementing organizational processes for developing employees and organization capability. 
- Participation in planning the automation portion of the F68 start-up, assisting in the development of schedules and CPAs. Working closely with the expatriate team to deliver the automation systems on-time.

Qualifications

- Expert level technical problem solving skills and knowledge including automation systems, computing systems, and factory operations knowledge.

Key deliverables and responsibilities:

- Ownership and responsibility for recruiting and hiring a local infrastructure team consisting of software and hardware professionals.
- Manage a team of software and hardware professionals maintaining the factory computing environment consisting of servers and storage systems using Windows, UNIX, Company architecture, SAN, Oracle and SQL.
- Develop and implement business and engineering processes to guarantee high availability and performance from these systems. Create sustaining processes that will provide long term stability and performance of the computing environment.
- Develop plans and implement organizational processes for developing employees and organization capability. 
- Participation in planning the automation portion of the F68 start-up, assisting in the development of schedules and CPAs. Working closely with the expatriate team to deliver the automation systems on-time.
