Description
Become a member of the EPSD Shanghai team and provide Enterprise Application support to the Enterprise Platform and Services Division (EPSD) and its collaboration partners. In this position you will be responsible for supporting multiple web applications built with a variety of technologies and databases. You¡¯ll work directly with Company employees, external business partners, the IT team that hosts the application hardware, and on occasion application vendors. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: routine maintenance and administration such as account creation and password resets over various applications, maintenance of support web sites, and troubleshooting connectivity and database problems. You¡¯ll resolve user issues related to accessibility, performance and usage, companyface with application vendor concerning issues that might arise and the IT hosting group in support of user accounts and access, ensure servers are maintained and operational by IT.
Qualifications
Successful candidate should possess a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering/Science or Information Technology with experience in application support and web development. Technical skills required include proficiency/experience with XML, SOAP, PHP, ASP.NET, SQL, Visual Basic, database administration (MySQL and MS SQL), basic networking administration, knowledge of web standards, and familiarity with Windows Server 2003 and Unix (FreeBSD or Linux). Additional qualifications include: Excellent communication and problem solving skills, strong customer orientation and ability to work independently. Familiarity with EMC Documentum eRoom and/or Juniper Networks products would be an added advantage.
