In this position, you will be responsible for managing and implementing hardware verification, product competitive analysis activities on next generation of IA platforms. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Planning, managing and implementing Hardware (M/B, HBA, etc.) verification and Performance analysis tasks based on requirements of GSIG product marketing team

- Developing hardware verification and Performance analysis test plans and test tools for new Hardware

- Planning the schedule and perform the hardware verification and Performance analysis tasks aligning with the development schedule

- Leading several validation engineers to implement tasks as the technical lead

- Responsible for making validation judgments on hardware related issues and interfacing with hardware development teams

 

You should possess a Master of Electronic Engineering degree with three years relevant experience, or a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering degree with five years relevant experience.

- Experience with digital board evaluation, signal integrity, Cadence* board design tools and/or have experience determining root causes of tough technical issues.

- Be responsible for development of validation and performance evaluation strategy, determining test parameters, specifying tests to be performed, analyzing test data, publishing test documentation, debugging issues, and updating tests/fixtures as needed through the product life cycle.

- Good knowledge of the working principle of components on desktop or server platforms

- Strong expertise of verifying desktop or server products in functional, electrical, stress, performance and environmental aspects

- Self starter who can work with minimal supervision in a team environment

- Good verbal and written communication skills, as is a highly disciplined approach to problem solving

- Experience in multifunctional communication with hardware design, BIOS and chassis development teams
