Industrial Engineering Manager
Responsibilities/Job description
Prior to start-up, the Industrial Engineering Manager will be focused on learning the Company corporate culture/policies/procedures, the Company manufacturing process, and essential technical skills used within the Industrial Engineering department. They will focus on learning and supporting various modules and understanding capacity planning, tool performance indicators, and other key factory metrics. The Industrial Engineers will also participate in projects related to: tool install, schedule, reuse, and layout. At factory start-up, the Industrial Engineering Manager is responsible for strategic and tactical capacity and capital planning, functional area performance tracking and improvements, reuse tool projects, layout coordination, and management of capacity and capital systems. The IE manager will play a key role in factory continuous improvement teams and projects. To be successful in this role the candidate will be required to develop and manage IEs for the local green field organization.
Qualifications
Candidate must have a minimum of a MS degree in engineering and 5 years of experience or a BS degree in engineering with at least 7 years of experience. Candidate should have excellent communication skills and English CET6. Successful demonstration of management and leadership ability is required. Candidate should also have some basic understanding of production processes and manufacturing systems. Experience in project management is strongly desired. Candidates should also have experience in applying problem solving techniques.
Shift Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities/Job description
This position is a manufacturing staff position and reporting to Manufacturing Director. The Shift Manufacturing Manager will lead the manufacturing safety, quality, output, people, Equipment & Operation Excellence systems and cost efforts to optimize the start up and high-volume ramp of a fab in Dalian, China. They will drive innovative process, tool, and system optimization opportunities and coordinate with other Company factory (Virtual Factory network) leadership teams to execute streamlining efforts to reduce labor content, tool downtime, and cost prior to process transfer. The Shift Manufacturing Manager will develop and own safety, quality, cost, and maintenance systems in partnership with engineering and other factory support teams to meet factory needs over multiple phases of the project lifetime. They will provide a factory leadership and management role for proactive tactical planning and execution of the production ramp, resource management, and tool and labor productivity improvements. The Shift Manufacturing Manager is responsible for all aspects of factory performance, including Safety, Quality, Output, Module Team Leadership and team health/morale. They will be a leader of the fab safety effort and establishing a strong Company injury-free culture. They will be responsible for leading, coaching and facilitating the performance of manufacturing supervisors, module teams, and manufacturing direct workforce. The Shift Manufacturing Manager will own tactical planning and education and set daily shift priorities for fab execution. A key expectation of this position will be to build a strong local workforce through training and mentorship of local factory leaders. To be successful in this role the candidate must be an outstanding trainer, mentor, leader, and communicator.
Qualifications
The Shift Manufacturing Manager role requires demonstrated leadership ability in transfer, start up, and ramp of a high volume manufacturing facility, preferably running 300mm processes. The candidate should have a good understanding of fab operations and associated education/experience requirements for various positions. Demonstrated strong leadership in influencing cross-factory teams, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of factory cycles required. Demonstrated ability to develop and enhance manufacturing systems to align a high-volume manufacturing operation on goals is required. Strong understanding of manufacturing science and systems, semiconductor process flow technology issues, and theory of constraint applications preferred. Candidate should have a working knowledge of performance management practices and be able to apply those toward development of first line managers and direct reports. Successful candidates will also have working knowledge of technical development, as well as demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining successful relationships with partner organizations, including engineering, IQ, training, HR, etc. to drive aggressive roadmaps. Experience in strategic project management to meet long-term goals through structured planning and execution to roadmaps is preferred. Ability to travel/relocate for extended periods of time to support the project start-up is required. Must be able to consistently perform on a 12-hour shift schedule - Compressed Work Week (CWW) schedule. Candidate should have a minimum of a BS degree in engineering, management, or equivalent, with 10+ years relevant work experience. Equipment Program Manager will partner with engineering Group Leaders and operate as One Voice 'business managers' for the area, assess module safety and quality performance and define continuously improvement plan. Partner with Shift Managers on alignment with/to factory needs and goals, priority setting. Partner with appropriate stakeholders to influence and ensure module needs as provided by support organization are met. Develop strong business process (passdown, escalation process, etc). Investigate, learn, and drive out variance to standards. To be successful in this role the candidate must be an outstanding trainer, mentor, leader, and communicator.

Integration Engineering Manager

Fab 68 Integration is looking for highly motivated individuals with strong technical background and capabilities to join a 300mm logic chipset factory in Dalian, China. In this position as local FE Integration or BE Integration Engineering Manager, you will be reporting to Fab 68 Expat Integration Area Manager as an individual contributor during Fab startup, and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Participating in technology start-up, transfer, and ramp activities to meet yield, reliability, cost, and device performance goals;
- Driving and prioritizing integrated experiments to troubleshoot and optimize process flows;
- Owning particular sections of process flow, and responsible for its optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement goals;
- Maintaining and driving process qualification matrix and deliverables;
- Rapid response to process excursions and drive to quick integrated solutions;
- Working with Process Engineering to improve process stability and capability as well as reduce defects;

Process Engineering Manager

In this position, you will be reporting to Director of Process Engineering and working with other managers to direct the process engineering module team organization. Applying to this posting will allow you to be considered for all module process engineering manager positions available at this time. It may require training assignment in the US for up to one year before locating to Dalian, China. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Leading the technical and process-transfer effort to optimize the start up of Fab68 in Dalian, China - Working with existing Company 300mm fabs around the world to improve tool and process performance, reduce cost, and increase flexibility in process transfer - Providing management for proactive tactical planning and execution of the production ramp, resource planning and/or management, and tool and labor productivity improvements - Leading and coordinating both process engineering and manufacturing equipment teams to develop inventive module strategies and systems to improve execution and efficiency in a high-volume manufacturing environment to achieve both operation and equipment excellence under LEAN principle.

In this position as local Yield Analysis Engineering Manager, you will be reporting to F68 Expat Yield Analysis Manager as an individual contributor during Fab startup, and your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Working with Integration and Process Engineering to improve process stability and capability as well as reduce defects;
- Monitoring Fab 68 yield performance and helping prioritize yield projects within the factory
