(Sr.) Linux App SW Engineer

 Description 

 The Open Source Technology Center (OTC) is looking for Linux application engineers. The location will be in Beijing. In this position, you will be working on Linux application development based on popular GUI environment including GTK+ and/or GNOME and Java GUI. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Coding, debugging and validating application software on Linux OS and latest Company? platforms

- Designing software modules with professional design documents

- Collaborating with team members across different sites/geographies

 

We are also hiring senior engineers who are capable of leading a group of engineers and providing technical guidance to them. 

 

 

 Qualifications 

 You should possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or other related technical degree. Additional qualifications include:

- At least two years experience on Linux or UNIX software development with proven project records

- Familiarity with GUI software development environment such as GTK+ and/or GNOME, Java GUI

- Knowledge of Open Source development models
