Software design manager(IEMS)

Primary Role and Responsibilities

- Responsible for successful IEMS project transition from Ottawa.  

- Responsible for  ongoing  product development and support of the  Beijing IEMS product.  

- Accountable for delivery of product meeting program content commitments, schedule, quality and budget.

- Provide support of developed products throughout the release cycle.

- Work closely with peer design teams, release management, GNPS, Patch teams ensuring successful program delivery.

- Well developed problem solving skills and an ability to establish and cultivate relationships with peer teams 

- Experienced with software development

Optional Skills

- OAM  experience or exposure

- An understanding in SNMP, NTSTD, SCC2, and syslog and an understanding of Carrier VoIP devices is beneficial.  

- Object Oriented analysis of large software systems

Education /Working Experience:

- Bachelor Degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering/Sciences or equivalent field

- At least 5 years S/W development experience or equivalent telecom industry working experiences

- Two years or above of manager experience
