The position is for System Integration Hardware Engineer with the Enterprise Platforms & Server Division (EPSD) based at the Company ZhiZhu site.  This individual will be responsible for server platform products with focus on technical ownership & responsibility of server system products in a production environment.

Qualifications: A successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of Company Server architectures. Experience with engineering change order (ECO) processes; knowledge of system manufacturing is required. The candidate must have strong system level debug skills & be knowledgeable in system level environmental testing procedures.  An understanding of 32 & 64 bit OSs and networking environments is a plus.  Basic understanding of motherboard interaction with BIOS and server firmware desired.   Must be a self-starter with strong written & verbal communication skills, capable of handling multiple critical issues, and be a strong team player. Candidate must be fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred) both verbal and written.  A BSEE/ME with a 3 - 5 years experience is required.

Responsibilities: Interface and work with outsourced vendors and Outsource Design partners as related to product technical issues, factory excursion management & engineering change orders (evaluation and implementation).  Work closely with Technical Marketing Engineering to investigate and resolve server platform technical/engineering issues, provide clear & accurate status updates, and methodically determine the next steps towards a final Root Cause and resolution of all hardware issues on products.
