Job Description
As a Product Marketing Manager in Company, you will provide all product marketing support and material to the Company sales and business development teams, and to external parties such as prospects, partners and analysts. The focus will be on the successful messaging and positioning of products, competitive research and positioning, and understanding the detailed reasons behind wins and losses.
The Product Marketing Manager has a clear understanding of enterprise mobility and mobile operating systems and utilizes this knowledge to support all of the primary responsibilities. To thrive in this role, the Product Marketing Manager will exhibit outstanding writing skills, and be a dynamic and confident presenter.
This position will develop positioning, messaging, collateral and sales enablement materials. To keep Company ahead of the market, the Product Marketing Manager*s focus and priorities will vary regularly and be directed accordingly from their manager.
Position Responsibilities
- Market Insights 每 Collect market data from internal and external sources to share with executives and product management
- Competition 每 Competitive analysis at a detailed level of vendors* technology, strategy, and positioning
- Positioning 每 Develop on-going marketing, positioning and communications strategy for customers and partners that differentiates Company products
- Value Proposition 每 Develop and maintain market-oriented value propositions for target markets, industries and Company products. Define the target customer and establish the buyer persona.
- Presentations 每 Develop and present corporate level presentations and represent Company at industry trade events, webinars and internal events
- Sales/Business Development 每 Provide strategic and tactical support for Sales, Professional Services, and Business Development
- Sales Enablement 每 Ensure that the sales organization is adequately prepared to compete by driving timely creation of sales support tools including collateral, sales presentations, corporate presentations, white papers, testimonials, product sheets, etc.
- PR related- oversee website design with IT department/vendor, assist sales and marketing staff with customer event, maintain close relationships with reporters and editors at industrial media outlets to facilitate the company product strategy.
Position Requirements
- BA/BS in Business or Marketing or equivalent
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Proven analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative / non-traditional solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate technology features into business benefits
- Previous experience interacting and presenting to C-level executives
- Strong leader, self-starter and proven team player in a high achievement-oriented environment
- Willingness to travel, as job requires (estimated 5-10%) |
